Consultations

Consultations are by appointment only– you can book one by phone, email, Facebook or in person. If your pet needs seeing urgently during opening hours, please use the telephone so we can fit you in straight away. To find our opening times please click the contact us tab at the top of this page. We offer veterinary appointments for: 


• Routine health checks

• Vaccinations including boosters and restarts

• Care and advice for young animals

• Neutering

• Investigations in to health problems as inpatient or outpatients

• Diagnostic procedures as required including digital x-rays, ultrasound scans, blood sampling and more

• Medical and surgical treatment

• Care for elderly pets and advice for their owners

If you have a genuine emergency with your pet outside of these hours, call our normal number to contact our duty vet. They will answer your call immediately or call you back within minutes if they can’t answer at that moment.


Our emergency veterinary service is always available - our staff share the duty shifts with Three Counties Veterinary Emergencies in Axminster to ensure a vet is always available for your pet in case of emergency.


If you're not sure whether your pet needs seeing or not, please call us during normal hours to discuss the problem rather than waiting for it to become an emergency - it's much better to be safe than sorry.

Surgical Care
We have an outstanding team of experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses that work with you to keep your pets as fit and healthy as possible. 

Our Registered Veterinary Nurses offer dedicated nurse clinics. These clinics are varied and cover areas of routine health such as general pet care, dental care, blood pressure monitoring and weight & nutrition. The vet clinics can also be booked for minor procedures such as ear cleaning, tick removal, nail clipping and emptying anal glands.
